Harper's Story

Harper is a sweet and gorgeous pup, around one year old. Since she was found wandering the streets after being abandoned by her owners, she has settled in nicely with her foster. Harper is a bit shy and will take her time to warm up which is common for dogs who have been abandoned. She gets along well with the resident border collie and loves attention from the resident humans. Because she's still a pup, she's got some energy to release and calms down after about twenty minutes of go-time. Slow introductions are key to any dog's success in blending them into a home with resident pups. Harper is crate trained, does well on walks, easily trainable given her breed mix and truly aims to please. She's not much of a barker, mostly just to alert a visitor has arrived. Harper weighs around 65lbs, because she's still a puppy she is still growing into her beautiful super soft coat. Harper has only been around contained cats at adoption events, therefore, we do not know if she is cat friendly/tolerable. She's unsure of quick moving little humans and would prefer a more chill approach when it comes to kids.

Harper is a sweet young soul looking forward to a future with her people who will continue her training, provide her unconditional love, and always remain by her side. Her lucky people will be rewarded with an amazing sweet, smart, and loyal pup with endless love and appreciation for providing her the chance at the life she deserves.

For more information about Harper, call 209-815-5186 or email eoerescue@yahoo.com.
