Harper's Story

Meet Harper, a beautiful 1.5-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing about 12 pounds. Harper may be a little shy when she first meets you, but once she has some time to warm up, she blossoms into the sweetest, most loving little companion.

Harper is a total cuddle bug and loves being close to her people, but don’t let her love of snuggles fool you—this girl has a playful, active side too! She’s an energetic little dog who enjoys being on the go, exploring her surroundings, and having fun with her people and dog friends. She would love a home where she can get plenty of playtime, activity, and attention, followed by some well-earned cuddle time.

Harper does especially well with small dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. She’s a little unsure around larger dogs at first, but with proper introductions and some time to feel comfortable, she can warm up.

Harper would do best in a home with children 10 and older who can understand that she may need a little patience while she gets comfortable. Once she knows she’s safe, Harper’s loving and cuddly personality really comes out.

And then there are those eyes. Harper has a beautiful and unique eye pigmentation that gives her an extra-special look. She’s definitely one of those dogs who catches your eye and then steals your heart.

Harper is crate trained, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
