HARPER's Story

Young and drop dead gorgeous, HARPER is in the house and ready for a fabulous new year! HARPER is a young adult Shepherd mix girl who came to our shelter after being found on the side of a road with a bag of food and a fractured leg. This girl is a people lover and a smarty pants all wrapped up into one package!

Now fully healed and on the smaller size for a shepherd, HARPER would love some shepherd knowledgeable people who are ready to provide her with regular but not intense activity. She would do best in a home environment where she can be busy as she likes an learn new things. She seems to do very well with other dogs in our shelter, but as always, a meet-and-greet is necessary with your own dog prior to adoption.

This sweet thing is waiting to be your best friend. Beauty and brains sure are hard to beat!

Please contact the BROOKE COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER @ 304-394-0800 for more information about HARPER. We Thank You for your interest in the animals in our shelter, and hope you will visit with us very soon!

* Though the information on our animals available for adoption is updated frequently, please understand that there is a chance that when you arrive at our shelter the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted or another party might be going through the adoption process at that time.

Our shelter is happy to work with responsible rescues!

We are conveniently located just 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We will gladly provide you with easy directions to our facility upon request
