I’m SIX MONTHS OLD now...and STILL WAITING! <br/><br/>I’m officially 27 pounds of Lab-mix sweetness, and my foster family says I’m just an absolute DOLL! <br/><br/>And y’all, those Labrador genes are REALLY starting to show themselves! <br/><br/>Puddles? LOVE THEM.<br/>Ponds? EVEN BETTER.<br/>Water of any kind? COUNT ME IN! <br/><br/>I’ve also been busy checking things off my big-girl list!<br/><br/> Completely housetrained!<br/> Crate trained and quiet in my crate<br/> Recently spayed and fully vetted!<br/> Great with other dogs, cats, and kids<br/> LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to play!<br/> Professional snuggler when playtime is over <br/><br/>I especially love having other dogs to play with. But when it’s time to settle down, there’s nothing better than relaxing beside my person with my favorite deer antler.<br/><br/>Now, let’s talk about my little leg-<br/><br/>Some of you remember that I had two hip surgeries when I was just a tiny puppy. Well, that leg is still there, still working, and it doesn’t give me any problems!<br/><br/>It does appear to be a little shorter than my other leg, and my foster family suspects I’ll probably always have a bit of a limp.<br/><br/>But guess what? I DON’T CARE ONE BIT! <br/><br/>I run. I play. I splash. I wrestle. I enjoy life just like any other happy puppy. That little leg might make my walk a bit different, but it certainly doesn’t slow down my enthusiasm for life!<br/><br/>And yes, I’m still a puppy, which means I occasionally get curious about things that aren’t technically mine to chew. Thankfully, I’m already comfortable and quiet in my crate, so I have a safe place to relax when my people aren’t home.<br/><br/>My story didn’t start out very happy. I was picked up by animal control, injured, never claimed, and faced two surgeries before I even had a chance to enjoy being a puppy.<br/><br/>But that was my beginning. It doesn’t have to be my whole story. I don’t need a family who sees a puppy with a bad leg.
