Harlow

New Orleans German Shepherd is in need of a foster or forever home for Harlow. NOGSR had to take a break from rescue for awhile, but we could not turn our back on this older GSD. This week a kind person brought Harlow to a local shelter after they witnessed someone dumping her from a car. Fortunately, Harlow has only a small cut on her face and unless we hear otherwise from our veterinarian, we think she will be fine.<br/><br/>I met Harlow at the shelter and she is as sweet as can be and we decided on the spot to take her into rescue. Older dogs have a much harder time being adopted out of shelters and and we have been very lucky in the past finding families who love senior dogs. <br/><br/>Harlow will be moved to our vet's office for boarding after her stray hold period is up on Thursday and will have to stay there until a foster home can be found as we do not have any open foster homes at this time. We would love to get her into a loving home asap. <br/><br/>Thank you to the person who witnessed such cruelty and took this beautiful dog to a safe place.
