Meet Harley, a 5-year, 10-month-old mixed breed who has been in our care since August 2021.<br/><br/>Harley appears to be a hound and Shepherd mix, though we can’t say for certain. He is a gentle, playful dog with a shy side and tends to take a little time to build trust with new people. Once he forms a connection, he becomes very loyal and enjoys being close to his person.<br/><br/>Harley enjoys playtime, including games like tug of war, and has done well spending time with other dogs at the shelter. He would do best in a home with space to move around and a person who can spend time with him throughout the day.<br/><br/>He is looking for a patient adopter who understands that he may need time to settle in, but will be a devoted companion once he feels comfortable.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal dog and are willing to give him the time he needs, Harley may be a great fit.
