Harley is not going to win “Miss German Shepherd USA.” Bless her heart, she looks like someone took a hound dog head, stuck it on a German Shepherd body, shook it, and said “Yep, good enough.” But what Harley lacks in traditional beauty, she makes up for in soul, sweetness, and the kind of charm that grows on you faster than you expect.<br/><br/>Harley is a 6–7 year old German Shepherd–ish mix who has been patiently waiting for her person… and waiting… and waiting. She’s starting to suspect she showed up to the wrong audition. We promised we’d help her out.<br/><br/>Here’s what you get when you adopt Harley:<br/>1. A friend to all dogs – she’s the type who shows up at the dog park and instantly makes a friend group.<br/><br/>2. Friendly and gentle – she genuinely loves people, even if she gives them a “don’t judge my face, please” look first.<br/><br/>3. Talented performer – she will sit up pretty (and trust us, it’s adorable) for treats, snacks, and as many ear scratches as you’re willing to hand out.<br/><br/>4. A certified sweetheart – she just wants someone to love her, quirks, mismatched parts, and all.<br/><br/>Harley may not be a supermodel, but she’s the dog version of that coworker who isn’t a looker but is everyone’s absolute favorite person. If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait**<br/>**************<br/><br/>***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***<br/>-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted<br/>-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply<br/>-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered<br/>-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter<br/>-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog<br/>-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY<br/>-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications<br/>-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time<br/>-Not able to adopt?
