Harley's Story

Harley's engine is revved up and ready to go!

Harley is a steadfast heeler-mix ready to take on the world and zip through the streets with her human by her side. She's sweet, energetic, and very enthusiastic about everything--anything worth doing is worth doing with all the excitement she can muster! (And trust us, she can muster a lot!)

Her playful spirit would fit right in to any family home with energetic children, or active adults! And you'd better bet she's ready for whatever adventure comes her way: Harley would make for the best sidecar sidekick you've ever seen.

Harley's perfect home:
High activity/energy and spacious household
Good with kids, take caution with smaller children (she might be too excitable for them)
Good with dogs, especially hyper, playful dogs

Harley's looking for someone to call shotgun with. Needy Paws Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
We are so grateful you are interested in adopting a shelter pet into your home and family! We practice an "open" approach to adopters - we believe that we will build better mutual trust and understanding with our adopters through face-to-face conversations and interactions with you and the pet you are interested in than we would with tons of paperwork and hoops to jump through. We don't just want every pet to find a home - we want every pet to find the right home! When you visit our shelter or reach out to us, you will be warmly greeted; we will ask questions to get to know you and what your home is like, and will happily recommend pets that we think would be a great match! We believe the "perfect" home is the one where the pet will be loved and made a part of the family, and we do our best to help match you up with a pet you will be head over heels about!
