Harley's Story
Harley
Female
DOB: 12/27/2012
Black and White
?Activity Level: Active Companion
Border Collie/Mix
Weight = 25 lbs
Fostered near Elkton, VA 22827

Meet Ms. Harley, she is a very active Border Collie/Mix that would be an excellent candidate for an energetic/active family. She would excel in Agility, Fly Ball, Frisbee, etc. She is small in stature, but don’t let her size fool you, there is no lack of confidence in this little girl. She bonds quickly and will follow you everywhere. She is good with other dogs and likes to play with our dog savvy barn cat. I would not recommend her for children under 10 years old since she tends to herd them.

She enjoys playing ball, tug-of-war, chewing on dog bones, going for a walk/run and wrestling with her foster brother. With proper exercise, she will settle nicely in the house. She likes to cuddle and enjoys being beside her humans. She is a very smart girl, she understands “sit and down” and is learning “stay and shake”.

She is good in her crate, making it through the night with no issues. She loves to go for rides in the car and has visited several pet friendly stores where she met several other pups with a wagging tail and a kiss. She was excellent for the groomer, where she got a bath and brush; her teeth cleaned and nails trimmed.

She is not overly food motivated, but she likes pieces of boiled chicken and string cheese as a reward for good behavior. There have been no signs of food or toy aggression.

Harley is UTD on her shots, spayed, micro chipped, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. She is a beautiful young lady that will make a great active companion. Her adoption fee is $250.00. For additional information on Harley, please fill out an on-line adoption application & contact his foster mom, Tina Grove at tinagrove@ymail.com.

Please follow the link to complete our on-line application for this dog or one of our other rescues. http://brbcr.org/adoptionapplication.php
