Harley's Story

Harley was initially brought to us for boarding with her three housemates after her owners experienced a house fire. Eventually with nowhere to take the dogs, the owner turned to euthanasia. We instead discussed relinquishment so we could give them their second chance! Harley is pretty good about keeping her area clean and enjoys her bed and blankets. She does good with other dogs and previously shared a home with other dogs. Harley recently stayed with a foster where we discovered she does ok with cats, but is not a good fit in a home with young children. She gets a little worked up and becomes reactive in a busy family environment. This old girl is looking for her second chance and a nice yard to sunbathe in!

All of our animals are cared for and examined by our veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. To inquire about any of our animals please e-mail us at rescuedheartanimalhospital@ymail.com or click on the link. Provide the name of the animal that you are interested in and your preferred contact information. We will then send you an adoption application and/or set up a time for you to stop in and meet Harley to ensure that she's the right dog for you.
