Harley's Story

Harley is a black and tan female Labrador Retriever mix. She is approximately 5 years old. She has been spayed. Harley gets along well with people but will need a home with people of the age 16 or older. Harley walks on a leash but will pull and she absolutely loves going for a walk. She has been fed in her crate and is crate trained. Harley is a very loving and affectionate girl who loves tummy rubs and thinks she is a lap dog. She plays with other dogs her own size very well but will be too rough with dogs smaller than her. She has a high prey drive so Harley is not good with cats and will chase them and bark at them. Her favorite game is fetch and she will fetch most anything you give her. She enjoys hard chew toys and likes to play ball. Harley likes to sleep in bed with you and is full of kisses to share with the whole family. She knows how to sit and when you tell her go to bed she will go to her crate; but definitely needs more training. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).
