Harleigh

This is 4 year old Harleigh. She weighed 37 lbs when she was taken from a bad situation and this is a more recent picture of 70 lb Harleigh. She is a beautiful well mannered Husky who is as good on a leash as any dog and much better than most Huskies. She is a delight to walk. <br/>The reason we are showing her old picture is because Harleigh was neglected and knows what it is like to be extremely hungry. It is for this reason that she has to be fed in a crate and that she will eat any food left out. Don't leave bread on the counter. She likes that too. <br/>Harleigh loves to run but would still much rather go on a walk or run with you. She doesn't notice other dogs on her walks and she is fine in stores like Petsmart. She doesn't pay that much attention to other people either but you won't find a more affectionate dog once she bonds with you.<br/>This bonding can be facilitated more quickly with treats. We ask people not to approach her without a treat as she startles easy when someone she doesn't know enters her space. That said, Harleigh is much more fun than most dogs but make sure you are familiar with the needs and requirements of Huskies. They aren't for everyone. <br/>She is fostered in Avon. Her adoption fee is $350 and you can meet her by calling or texting 317-435-8217. She is fully vetted.
