Happy - In Mass.'s Story

Meet Happy—a sweet, goofy boy whose name truly says it all! Happy endured a terrible experience when he was mauled by the resident dog, leaving him with a scar on his face. But somehow, through it all, Happy held onto his gentle spirit. Today, that scar almost makes him look like he is always smiling—and he has every reason to smile now! Happy is in a wonderful foster home where he has learned how to love and trust again.

Happy has experienced many new things with his foster family. Happy has been canoeing, met horses and made many new friends. He’s a sweet, floppy, silly boy who is very good with little children. Happy has not been cat tested but has a very low prey drive so he might be ok with cats. If you would love to adopt a young dog but don't want to deal with puppy shenanigans, Happy would be a perfect choice at a year old. He has all the exuberance and innocence of a puppy but also knows the rules of living in a home. Being fostered with 5 dogs has helped him develop really nice manners. He also walks great on a leash and enjoys going hiking.

Happy is a trusting, lovable boy who is ready to leave his difficult past behind and fill his days with love, fun, and all the happiness he deserves. He’s the kind of dog who will make you smile just by being himself, and his goofy personality is impossible not to love. Happy has learned that people can be kind, and now he’s hoping to find his forever family—someone who will see past his scar, cherish his beautiful heart, and show him what it truly means to be home. If you want to enjoy all this Happy with your family apply now with a free application @ www.americanlabrescue.com. He is current with his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Happy weighs about 48 pounds.

Happy survived the hard part.
