Happy Hades's Story
Happy thought he’d found his forever home, but he was sadly returned to the shelter after facing some challenges his adopters couldn’t manage. During his time with us, Happy was seen by an eye specialist who diagnosed him with congenital ocular abnormalities. His condition has since progressed, and he is now completely blind in one eye.

We believe this may be why things didn’t work out in his last home, but despite his vision loss, Happy hasn’t lost his spirit!! He still wags his tail, leans in for cuddles, and greets everyone with the same gentle sweetness that earned him his name.

Happy is under 40 lbs and adored by every staff member and volunteer who meets him. He just needs someone patient, kind, and willing to love him exactly as he is, a dog who may not see perfectly, but will love you unconditionally.
Please give Happy his second chance. Share his story, spread the word, or better yet, come meet him today!!
