Happy's Story

Happy was found as a stray and had become quite aggressive toward his handlers at the shelter. But dogs like Happy aren't "bad" dogs they are fearful, overwhelmed, and unsure of the world around them.<br/><br/>When he arrived here at the sanctuary, we did what we always do.<br/><br/>We opened the crate.<br/>We gave him space.<br/>And we slowly introduced him to the pack.<br/><br/>Because the truth is dogs speak dog far better than humans ever will.<br/>The pack will take it from here.<br/><br/>He doesn't have to like the humans we're used to that around here. If he finds comfort, confidence, and companionship with the other dogs then Happy is finally home.<br/><br/>Happy has been slowly coming around humans and allows us to pet him now.
