Hans (Manchester, Connecticut)

Meet Hans, a beautiful 7-year-old located in Manchester Connecticut. His story is sad. He is heartworm positive and will be facing treatment. A nurse doing a home care visit saw the dog caged outside in deplorable conditions. Inside the cage was a small igloo house with no bedding. The ground was covered with feces there was an empty bucket with dead maggots. It was 17F that day. She immediately took action and called to report his condition. He was released to animal control by the owner and this wonderful family decided to foster him. <br/><br/>He has been to the vet and groomer, and he is currently living in their home, doing wonderfully. He is a very happy boy. They have another dog a black lab. Hans is an absolutely lovely dog with no signs of aggression. He is looking for a special family.
