Hans's Story

Meet Hans
Hans is a sweet and quirky young adult with a special kind of charm that sneaks up on you - equal parts shy, goofy, and endlessly curious. His journey has taken some courage, but this brave boy is blossoming more each day.
He doesn’t just walk or run - he frolics. With his stiff-legged gallop and joyful bounce, Hans moves through the world like he’s dancing to a rhythm only he can hear. He’s not the type to chase after toys, but he’ll gladly chew on one while playfully dodging you in the yard, especially if you bounce at him first. Other dogs bring out his playful side, and he’s learning every day how to navigate the world with a little more confidence.
Hans is still discovering that people can be safe and kind, so he’ll need a patient family willing to follow the 3-3-3 rule—three days to decompress, three weeks to settle, and three months to truly shine. He may never be a lap dog or enjoy being cuddled, but scratch his neck and down his back, and you’ll see a tail wag and the beginnings of trust. He’s even started taking treats and clearly enjoys when someone talks just to him.
Hans will thrive in a calm, consistent home with a steady routine and someone who understands that love, for him, is built slowly - but oh, how sweet it is when it starts to show. If you're ready to offer time, space, and understanding - Hans will gift you with his goofy spirit, loyal heart, and the most joyful bouncy steps you’ve ever seen.
Apply here to meet our frolicking friend!
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/TGLR/Dog
