Hannah's Story

Meet Hannah!
This spunky, joyful girl is ready to begin her next journey, and she’s hoping that journey leads straight into the arms of her forever family. Hannah is believed to be around 7–8 months old and currently weighs just under 60 pounds. She’s still growing and is expected to be on the larger side when fully mature—likely 70 pounds or more. While her exact breed mix can’t be confirmed without a DNA test, her beautiful looks and personality suggest a mix of Shepherd, Lab, Great Pyrenees, and perhaps even some Anatolian Shepherd. Whatever the combination, one thing is certain: Hannah is absolutely adorable.

Hannah and her littermates have been living their best lives with one of our amazing rescue partners in Texas, where they’ve grown up in a loving home environment. As wonderful as foster care has been, it’s time for Hannah to branch out and find her own forever humans. Like most young pups, her personality is still developing, but she has already proven herself to be curious, affectionate, eager to please, and a quick learner. With patience, training, and structure, Hannah will blossom into the loyal, devoted companion we know she’s meant to be.

She appears to be mostly potty trained, though as with any transition, accidents may happen in a new home. Hannah has done well both on and off leash, staying close by without wandering. She’s already been introduced to some basic obedience commands and is eager to learn more, making training a fun and rewarding experience for her future family.

Hannah has been wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and ages and has also been around children without any issues (though we always recommend slow and monitored introductions). True to her puppy spirit, she has plenty of energy and thrives on outdoor adventures. Whether she’s splashing around in the water, going for a hike, or just chasing bugs in the yard, Hannah is happiest when she’s active and engaged.

Because of her size, energy, and likely breed traits, she is not suited for apartment or condo living. She would do best in a home with a yard where she can run, play, and burn off her energy. A fenced yard is preferred but not strictly required. Experience with active breeds is a plus, but not necessary—what Hannah truly needs is an active family ready to include her in their adventures and guide her with patience and love.

Requirements
•Yard required
•No apartment or condo living

Health:
Hannah is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and on monthly preventatives. She is still too young for heartworm testing but is otherwise healthy and ready for her forever home.

Transport Information:
All of our dogs, including Hannah, are currently located in Texas and will be transported after adoption. Transport is included in the adoption fee. While breed labels are our best educated guesses, we encourage adopters to focus on her personality and lifestyle compatibility—not breed alone.
MA License #479
