Hannah's Story

Hannah has had a rough beginning, but she is blossoming into a terrific girl now that she is in a safe and positive environment. Once skittish and unsure of everything, Hannah is now learning to behave like a dog and enjoying toys and the company of people and pups. She is being crate trained to assist with potty training…she was an outside dog at her previous home, so she has had to adjust to being inside and learning normal household manners. (Once crated, she was potty trained within 24 hours) Hannah loves people and seeks affection when nearby. She is a submissive licker, likely due to the lack of confidence, but we are working with her to build her confidence every day. She has displayed a few episodes of wanting to police the other dogs when they begin to get excited in play but is easily redirected. If her new home has experience raising or knowledge of Rottweilers and their need for a balanced leadership in the home, she will make someone a great family pet.

Hannah is a two-year-old, female, spayed, American Rottweiler dog available for adoption.

This dog is currently in foster with Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter.
