Hank's Story

Meet Hank

He is so very special to us.
Hank was adopted as a puppy and recently abandoned and found at the shelter, due to no fault of his own. His foster says he rides well in the car, goes into a crate without an issue, and is house trained. Hank loves to play fetch and will bring the ball back to you. He hates the water and can be a little possessive when he has a toy, but has been getting better with that! He walks well on his leash, no tug or pull, and knows basic commands. He doesn't jump or leap. *Hank would prefer to be the only dog in the home at this time. He is working on socializing more while in his foster home.
apply at pittfriends.com

Pitt Friends's Adoption Policy
Thank you for considering adopting from Pitt Friends! The first step in our adoption process is filling out our application, which you can find at pittfriends.com. If your application is approved, the foster family will reach out to you directly to arrange a meet and greet at a mutually agreeable time and place. We do not have a shelter facility. All of our animals live in foster care full time, in the homes of our volunteers. Our adoption fee is $200 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, and any other medical care that is required prior to adoption. A home check and vet reference are required prior to adoption. Each dog has different needs, so if one particular dog is not the right fit for your home, we may be able to recommend another that is a better match!
