Hank's Story

Meet Hank!

This sweet pup is a new arrival at FHDR! Hank is an adorable Heeler puppy, approximately 3 months old. We believe he will be on the smaller side and will likely not reach the typical size of a standard Heeler.

Hank is already showing us what a wonderful little pup he is! He is playful, friendly, and loves attention. We are still getting to know his personality, but so far he has been a happy and sweet boy.

Hank was found as a stray in Mississippi. The shelter reached out to FHDR and told us what a sweet boy he was, so we made arrangements for him to come to New Jersey to begin his journey toward finding his furever home.

Hank is currently living in a loving foster home, where we are learning more about him each day. We will continue to update his bio as we discover more about this adorable little guy. And we will be adding more photos!

Dont wait — Hank is ready to meet the family who will love him forever!

If you have a furever home for this pet, please e-mail Furever Home Dog Rescue at FureverHomeDogRescue@gmail.com and request an adoption application. The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are. Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be left alone all day. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to FHDR. Please read our homepage www.fhdr.petfinder.com to read how the adoption process works. Furever Home Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
ADOPTING A FRIEND - If you see a pup that you are interested in adopting, please email us at FureverHomeDogRescue@gmail.com and ask for an adoption application. All applicants must be at least 24 years old AND they must be the head of household. Renters are welcome as long as dogs are allowed by their landlords. Please note submitting an application does not guarantee adoption. The adoption process consists of your completion of an adoption application, our review of the application and contacting relevant references & verifying the application information. The adoption process can take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks upon receipt of your application. If your application meets our initial requirements, we will contact you to discuss the dog and arrange a home visit. Please note that our further due diligence will determine if your family is awarded the pup. We understand you are excited to meet our pups, but because we do not have a physical shelter and all our pups are in foster homes, we need to limit pet visitation to Approved Applicants only. If your application is completed and approved by Furever Home Dog Rescue, we will be happy to schedule your visit. We expect all members of the family to be at the meet and greet. Adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment. When bringing a new pet into your family, everyone in the family should have a chance to spend time with the dog before adopting. And everyone needs to agree that it's a good idea. When you meet the pup, Furever Home Dog Rescue will make a determination if it's a match. If it's a match, you are welcome to adopt the pup at that time. You are never obligated to adopt the pup. Please note, Furever Home Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse an adoption to anyone for any reason.
