Hank's Story
Hank
3 years old Pit Bull Terrier Neutered Male 74 lbs Available in Foster
Adoption Fee: $0.00 (Sponsored)

Meet Hank, a bright and affectionate 3-year-old who is ready for his next chapter. He's a solid, strong boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
Hank enjoys being around people and has a playful, fun-loving side. He's the kind of dog who would love to be included in daily activities, whether that's spending time outside, going on walks, or just hanging out with his people.

Hank's Best Qualities
Dog-friendly and playful
Crate-trained and sleeps well through the night
Smart and food-motivated
Affectionate and enjoys human interaction
Active and fun personality

Foster Update
Hank has been doing well in his current foster home and has shown himself to be a sweet, engaging dog. He enjoys toys, playtime, and being involved in what's going on around him.
He is crate-trained, house-trained, and familiar with basic commands such as sit, stay, and come. He rides best when crated and is still building comfort with car travel.
Hank has done well with other dogs but a meet and greet is required if you have other dog(s). He is a strong, energetic dog who will benefit from continued guidance and structure.

Foster Note: Hank's foster completed an Embark DNA test, and he came back 100% American Pit Bull Terrier.

Ideal Foster / Home Placement
Hank is currently in foster care, but he would benefit greatly from placement with a foster or adopter who has the time and ability to focus on continued training and structure. He is an active, intelligent dog who thrives with both mental and physical stimulation.
He would be a great match for someone who enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, exploring, or even dog sports like dock diving. A home with a large yard or access to open space would be an excellent outlet for his energy.
Hank is still working on leash skills and gaining confidence with car rides, and he will do best with someone committed to providing consistency, guidance, and regular outlets for exercise and enrichment.
He would thrive in an environment where his training can be a priority and where he can stay both mentally and physically engaged.

Hank is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to meet a foster or adopter who can help him continue building the skills he needs to succeed.

Currently in foster care, meet and greets available by appointment
adoptions@carolinehumane.org
| 410-820-1600
www.carolinehumane.org

407 W.
