HANK's Story
Meet Hank!

A tender-hearted boy who just needs a little time to discover that the world is a pretty wonderful place.

Hank is a 6-month-old yellow-and-white male puppy who may have some Collie in his mix. He’s a shy boy who is still learning that new things aren’t scary. He really wants to be close to people, but he can be a little unsure at first. Give him some time and patience, though, and Hank comes around and shows you his sweet side.

Hank loves to be held and is good with other dogs. He’s still working on his crate training and learning how to walk on a leash. Because new experiences can be intimidating for him, his forever family will need to introduce him to new people, places, and experiences slowly and positively, allowing him to build confidence at his own pace.

Hank isn’t looking for a family that expects him to be instantly confident. He needs someone who will celebrate the little victories—and let him discover the world one step at a time.

With patience, kindness, and plenty of love, this sweet boy has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Hank is waiting for someone who will give him the time he needs to become the confident boy we know is in there.
