Haneul's Story

Meet Haneul, a 1 year-old Jindo mix who is the definition of resilience. At just under 40lbs, he’s the perfect medium-sized companion who does not let being a tripod slow him down. He is a master of backyard zoomies, a champion hiker, and short distance runner! While he has the spirit of an adventurer, Haneul is a sensitive soul who just wants to be where you are. He is looking for a family where he can be a loyal shadow and a brave companion.

Haneul loves being near his people, especially the ladies (though he’s happy to warm up to men with a little extra patience). He is comfortable alongside cats and gets along famously with calm dogs. Haneul is house trained and knows how to settle on his own and find a quiet place to relax. You can often find him sitting at the window just watching the birds and squirrels or laying peacefully on his dog bed. Haneul loves being outside and would do best in a house that has a fenced yard. Haneul absolutely lives for his daily strolls! While he’s still learning that the leash is not a race, he’s working on his manners to be your best hiking partner.

Haneul’s perfect match is someone who understands that sensitive souls just need a little extra time to shine. He’s already making huge leaps like mastering the stairs, and being left alone for short periods of time. With a patient adopter to help him blossom, there’s no limit to what this resilient boy can achieve.

In Korean, Haneul means Sky, and this resilient tripod is ready to clear away the clouds and bring sunshine into your life!

Breed: Jindo Mixed
Age: 1 year

Weight: 39lbs

Location: Guelph ON

Special note: A brave tripawd (three-legged dog)

In order to be considered for our dogs, we ask that you fill out an application. We do try this contact all applicants! There is an interview process as a first step, if this is successful we contact your personal references. We highly recommend that if you do not have a vet right now that you secure one prior to adopting - many vets are not taking on new clients! Once references are completed we will schedule a video tour/photos of your home as we are not doing home visits at this time due to COVID. If you are not selected for the dog you applied for we do offer match making and pre approval for future dogs.
