This is Hammy! <br/>He is a pittie mix around 5 months old and under 30 pounds. We pulled him from Sangamon County Animal Control after he was found as a stray. Hammy is the sweetest boy and is full of personality! He is good with other dogs, cats and kids. He loves people! He walks well on a leash, knows “sit” and does fine in his crate. He listens very well off leash and does great for car rides. He loves playing with toys and other dogs. He will need continued potty training. Meet and Greets are by appointment only (after the adopter has an approved application*). *Approved Applications are not on a first come first serve basis. We are selecting adopters based on what homes will be the best match for each animal.

Almost Home Rescue animals come as strays from shelters, while others are given to us by those making a tough decision to surrender.
