Haley's Story

A little over a year ago, Haley's story could have ended before it really began. Found during a brutal arctic freeze in southern Colorado, she and her mom and siblings were severely emaciated — barely hanging on. Thanks to a dedicated foster who refused to give up on them, they all made it. And now? They're absolutely thriving. Now it's Haley's turn to find her forever home. Are you up for an adventure? Do you enjoy meeting new people? Are you willing to put some work into a relationship for the right partner? No, this isn't a dating profile. It's Haley here, looking for my forever home. It's kind of similar though, because I am seeking a lifetime commitment. If you answered yes to those first three questions — or you'd just like to know more about me — let's proceed.I'm a happy, well-adjusted young dog who pretty much loves everyone. I enjoy my cuddle time and I'm affectionate, but I'm not one of those Velcro dogs who's constantly underfoot. Everyone needs their personal space, right? I'm doing well learning my commands, I'm good in my crate, and I love playing in the yard with other dogs — or I can entertain myself just fine. I'm currently fostered with a Chihuahua (he barks a lot, but I don't join in). I'm open to dogs of all sizes as companions and could thrive in a home with or without one.I have a serious zest for life and really want someone to share it with. One honest note: because of my youthful enthusiasm, young children could become bowling pins in my world, so a home without little ones would be the best fit for now.If you caught me on TV, you may have noticed that leash training is still a work in progress — but I'm eager to learn and very treat motivated. With just a little effort, I will be your perfect companion. I have so much love to give, and I've already proven I'm a fighter worth rooting for.If I seem like your type please apply here and let's meet up https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/adoptionapplication/
