HAILEY's Story
Meet Hailey!
Hailey is a friendly, people-oriented girl who loves interaction and staying active. Volunteers describe her as eager to engage — she already knows “sit,” takes treats gently with reminders, and may be housebroken. On leash, Hailey can be a strong puller, but she does a great job ignoring kenneled dogs and dogs in neighboring yards.

Once in the play yard, Hailey’s happy personality really shines. She enjoys chasing a ball, moving around, and soaking up plenty of pets and attention from her people. She’s playful, affectionate, and clearly enjoys being part of the action.

In playgroup, Hailey will greet other dogs and shows playful interest, but she is selective. She can be assertive, may overcorrect, and has displayed a concerning behavior of circling and hard-staring at other dogs, almost as if attempting to “herd” them.

Hailey would do best with adopters who appreciate an active, people-loving dog and are prepared to thoughtfully manage her interactions with other dogs. With the right guidance and structure, she’s a fun, engaging companion ready to bond closely with her humans.
