Hagrid's Story

Meet Hagrid! If you're looking for a workout buddy, Hagrid is your guy! This adult German Shepherd mix enjoys going for walks and would love an active family to keep up with him. He's still working on his leash manners, so he'll need someone who is patient and willing to help him learn. Hagrid is also learning his basic commands and will benefit from continued training, encouragement, and plenty of positive reinforcement. One thing he already knows for sure? He LOVES attention! This handsome guy is always happy to soak up all the love you're willing to give. With a little patience and guidance, Hagrid could make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an active, affectionate dog. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
