Hello, I'm Hadlee, a thoughtful, wise, and wonderful 7-year-old soul.<br/><br/>The world is filled with sights and sniffs, and gentle breezes. I love to soak it all up from the backseat of a car. Think oversized sunglasses and headscarves...just an elegant Boxer mix out for a drive. Preferably en route to a ball field; apparently, I was a major league outfielder at some point, one of the only gals in the big leagues. Throw anything my way–stuffed dice, worn-out frog toy, fuzzy tennis ball—the farther the better! Send me out for a squeaky, I'll retrieve it in record time.<br/><br/>Speaking of frogs, I sure do love the water! 23 and Hadlee says I'm one-eighty-fifth amphibian? Summer days with a hose are a dream come true. Anything outdoors is my wheelhouse: hiking, running, and camping (Watch me fetch the tent.) As a woman of the world, I know my obedience cues and will happily sit, lay down, and roll around on green grass. Love sunning myself, too. Something about my gorgeous coloring really shines in the light! <br/><br/>Walking together with friends of all species, or staring at the clouds while waiting for booty scratches. Pick me! At age 7, I'm full of life, and I'd love to share mine with you. And your sprinklers.<br/><br/>One volunteer adds: Hadlee is a super chill friendly girl, does well on walks, not reactive on leash or when she sees other dogs, loves water, seems to like car rides (she'll pause at a parked car like, “Is this our ride???” ), loves booty scratches, dog friendly!!!<br/><br/>Another volunteer adds: Hadlee is hilarious! She loves to play in the sprinkler so I indulged her today in this warm weather! She is comical to say the least! She thoroughly enjoyed herself! This 7-year-old Boxer mix loves to play with and retrieve toys, is very friendly, and would be good with older children. She gets along well with other dogs.
