Gypsy's Story

The name's Gypsy and it's just so great to meet you! I'm a 3 year old Shepherd mix who found my way here after being in a giant facility downstate where there were way too many dogs. The nice staff here at at the shelter opened their doors to me and gave me a nice place to stay, and I have to say, I like it much better here. The staff here tells me I'm "quite the character" whatever that means. I'm the fastest girl around and love speeding through the backyard, sometimes I even go so fast I forget where I'm going and have found myself crashing into something or other. That's okay though, I get right back up and I'm ready to run again! My dream human would be someone who is very active, like me. I'd love to go for walks and hikes and I'd even give swimming in the lake a shot if they let me. My past is a bit of a mystery, but what I do know is that I do not like other dogs, so a home where I can be the only pet would probably be best. I am mostly housebroken and they tell me I do a great job of keeping my kennel clean. Stop by and say hello to me, and maybe we can start our very own adventure together!<br/>For more information on Gypsy go to https://charlevoixhumane.org/adopt-a-dog
