Gypsy

GYPSY is a friendly, approximately 7-year-old (as of 7/1/25), 55-pound female Am-staff/hound mix. She's outgoing, sweet, and lovable. GYPSY came to us after living in a rural Georgia shelter after she was picked up as a stray. Gypsy must be the only dog in the home and is an outstanding friend and companion who would be a delightful addition to any family! <br/><br/>From Gypsy..."Hi, my name is GYPSY! I'm a sweet happy girl who thinks I'm a lap dog. My special talents include convincing people to give me belly rubs and sniffing out the softest spot for a nap. I love stuffed toys, comfy couches and would make a great snuggle buddy! I walk well with a front clip harness and am comfortable with handling, including sensitive areas like ears and paws. My perfect day would be a yummy breakfast, followed by a sniff-filled stroll and lots of R&R with my favorite people. It'll be kind of like a blind date!<br/><br/>***<br/><br/>This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and preventatives.<br/><br/>Animal Alliance does not adopt adult dogs (over 9 months old) into households with children under 9 years of age due to the risk of bites. Puppies 9 months of age or younger can be adopted into households with young children ages 4 and older. We do not adopt to families with children 3 years and younger or expectant families due to the safety risk for infants and toddlers.<br/><br/>BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: Meetings at our Adoption Center are by appointment only (no walk-ins). An online adoption application is required and must be approved prior to meeting any animals. Adoption appointments are set up by email by our Adoption Coordinator (no phone calls, please).
