Gweenie is a very sweet 1 year old great dane 90 ish lbs. She a big sweetheart. She is an amazing companion who is always happy to bring a smile to your face. She loves to snuggle and is very much a velcro dog. My have ownership experience to adopt. She is spayed, had her stomach tack, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative and had a full dental. Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
