Gus Gus's Story

Gus Gus was adopted in 2020 and was recently found as a stray. Unfortunately, his family was unable to take him back. Here is his bio from 2020, which we have found to still be true, although he has slowed down quite a bit now that is is approximately 8 years old. He is still a sweet, silly boy who would love a family with a yard he can hang out in!

Gus Gus is such a sweet and loving boy; he hasn’t met a person or dog he doesn’t like. He is always ready to play and his entire body wiggles with excitement when he’s happy. He is a great running and hiking partner and would love to go on all your adventures with you. He is also a huge cuddle-bug and would be just as excited to curl up next to you for a nap.

Gus Gus is eager to please and generally does well walking on leash. He can get distracted by squirrels and cats but doesn’t pull on the leash to chase after them. When the humans are out of the house, Gus Gus does best with plenty of chew toy options around him and all the shoes tucked away.

Gus Gus would thrive in an active household with plenty of time to share love and affection. He would make the perfect addition to a multi-dog family.
