Adopted at 5 months, he left foster care as a crate-trained, leash-trained, happy, well‑adjusted puppy.<br/>Unfortunately, his adoptive family later decided he was “too big” and “too much.” They enjoyed him as a tiny puppy, but when he grew into a normal teenage dog, they no longer wanted him. They also did not follow through with the basic training and vet care they had promised, so rescue stepped in once more to make things right.<br/>Now, Gus is back with rescue—and he’s getting a true second chance.<br/><br/>🎓 A Fresh Start: Gus is Going to Training!<br/>To set Gus up for lifelong success, the rescue has arranged a two‑week boarded training program. This dedicated time will give him the structure, confidence, consistency, and one‑on‑one attention he deserves.
