Gus's Story
Meet Gus

Gus is a handsome 4–5-year-old Pittie/Pyrenees mix weighing about 62 lbs, and he's ready to find a calm, loving home where he can truly thrive. He was originally adopted as a puppy and has been deeply loved ever since—but with the recent arrival of a new baby, it's become clear that Gus would be happiest in a quieter environment better suited to his needs.

Gus is a sweet, people-oriented boy who loves companionship, snuggles, and being close to his humans. He's housebroken, leash trained, neutered, and fully up to date on veterinary care. He also loves other dogs and enjoys regular daycare playtime, making him a great candidate for a home with a friendly canine companion.

Because Gus can feel anxious—especially when left alone—he would do best with a family that can offer routine, patience, and lots of reassurance. He's not comfortable around babies or toddlers, so a home with older children (around 7–8+ years) or adults only would be the best fit for his success and happiness

Gus is truly a wonderful dog with so much love to give. With the right home, he will be an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be part of the family

If you're looking for a devoted best friend and can offer Gus the peaceful home he deserves, we'd love to hear from you.
