Smart, eager, and full of life, this boy loves to learn and aims to please. Gus is 2 years old and 30 lbs. of pure personality and heart. We are not sure what breed he is. <br/><br/>Gus has already overcome so much. Before rescue, he knew hunger and uncertainty, which left him with a little food and resource guarding (and really... who can blame him ). But with consistency and the training he's received, he's making amazing progress and is ready to keep learning in a loving home. Because of his past, Gus would do best as the only dog-where he can feel safe, loved, and secure. He does seem to do ok with smaller laid back dogs. He cant be around another dog with toys, because of his resource guarding. <br/><br/> We hope to help Gus find his forever family quickly so he doesn't lose any of the progress he's made. He's ready for his next chapter. All he needs is someone willing to give him a chance. Gus has already endured more than any dog ever should, yet he still greets the world with hope and love in his eyes.<br/><br/>Gus is full of life, love, and energy!
