Gus's Story
Let's get this guy a home! Gus was originally rescued from Highlands County Animal Services August of 2022. He was picked up as a stray. He was then adopted in July of 2023. So he was waiting for a year. He was returned 11-29-23, because the owner keeps letting him out and can't keep track of him and he says there are gators nearby. He will jump a fence if left unattended. He doesn't tend to do it if he is out with another dog. He's now approximately 8 years old and weighs 48 lbs. He is extremely active and lets his nose guide him like a typical hound. He is very strong. He does know basic commands. Meet and greet required if you have another dog. He is heartworm negative. Call or text Alexandra 330-261-3934 if you can adopt. The adoption donation is $100 and includes neuter, UTD vaccines, and microchip.
