Hi I'm Gus!

I am a sweet, young hound dog! I am looking for a home that will take me on adventures and socialize me. I am super smart! I'm also super snuggly once I know you and am good at self entertaining. I'd love to hang out on the couch next to you chewing a bone during movie night! I am very vocal and would do best in a home that does not have neighbors close by.

Do you like dogs? I've had a hard time meeting other dogs appropriately and need to start as the only pup in the home.

Cats? I have an unknown history, but staff suspect I would thrive in a kitty-free home.

Kids? I'm working on some jumpy and mouthy behaviors and would like to meet kiddos old enough to help train me to be my best self!

Anything else you'd like us to know, Gus? I'd love to continue working on basic training and manners with my forever family! I'm the wiggliest guy, just looking for a little guidance on how to be an upstanding canine citizen. I'm about 2 years old and weigh 60 pounds.

I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.

My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!

ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license.
