Gus's Story
Meet Gus!

Meet Gus a roughly 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix (we think!) currently waiting for his person.

Gus is potty-trained, good on leash, dog friendly, and has even peacefully coexisted with kitties. He’s a super smart boy who just needs a little patience when meeting new people. Gus has a strong sense of stranger danger, so he’d love a family willing to "date" him a few times while he decides you’re his people.

He would thrive with a confident dog trainer and a home that can help him work through some separation anxiety and boredom with training and enrichment. Because he startles easily with loud noise and chaos, Gus would do best with older teenagers (rather than young kiddos) and in a predictable, quieter home.

If your vibe is routines, peace and quiet, and watching other people go on adventures via TV instead of going on them yourself...
