Gus's Story

Gus found himself in a high kill shelter in Tennessee after being abandoned by his owner. He is fully up to date on all of his shots, monthly heartworm prevention and testing, and is heartworm negative! Microchipped and neutered. He has a soft, shiny coat and weight about 70 lbs. Gus is approximately 3 years old.

Gus needs a secure fenced yard where he can be safe from his wandering nose and adventurous spirit. He loves leash walks and cuddling with his humans. Mostly a couch hound, this guy does need plenty of stimulation and mini training sessions, as well as ball throwing time and leash walking. Gus prefers a home without cats, and would be a great dog for someone who has some coonhound experience!

Please email jennyfiddle@yahoo.com telling us about your household, lifestyle, and how you will accommodate Gus into your home.
