His mom was found heavily pregnant in Mexico and made her way to a temporary foster home in California, where Gus and his littermates were born safely. At just three weeks old, he traveled to Minnesota and has been thriving in foster care.<br/><br/>He is comfortable with a crate and is about 90% potty pad trained, continuing to make great progress with routine and consistency. As a young puppy, continued positive socialization and training will be important to help him grow into a confident adult dog.<br/><br/>Gus must complete his remaining vetting through Small Dog Rescue, so his adopter must be located in the Rochester, Minnesota area.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a puppy who’s off to a great start and ready to grow with his forever family, Gus could be the perfect fit 💛<br/><br/>- Gus's adoption fee is $400 + MN sales tax.<br/>- You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Until then, however, it must be charged.<br/>- Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes. Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals, sometimes we cannot answer emails promptly.
