GUS

This sweet senior boy is GUS, a 12 year old male lab mix that was brought in as a stray and sadly, never claimed. GUS came to us with a severe ear infection that we are currently treating and it seems to be making him feel a lot better and lifting his spirits quite a bit! Being that he is 12 years old, he does have issues with his back legs but he is still mobile and able to get around just fine, he just moves a little slower. He is just the sweetest dog ever so we can’t understand how someone could just abandon him in his condition. With that being said, our vet recommends that GUS not be neutered due to his age and his overall health. She is worried that it would just be too much for the poor guy. He would do fine in just about any home setting, as he is good with other dogs, gentle enough for children and probably would have no interest in chasing a kitty around. He just needs a home that will care for him in his old age, give him everything he deserves and have the means to provide any medical needs that may arise.
