Gus's Story
Meet Gus (though he doesn't yet know his name),
A 9 month old snuggle bug weighing about 35 pounds. He's had a rough start to life as he was found as a puppy in an abandoned home and then hit by a car in his precious foster home. He had surgery for his broken hip on December 2nd and is doing great and has the all clear from the vet. He loves playing with the dogs and has even learned how to use the doggy door. He is currently in a house with 3 bigger dogs and a chihuahua. I also have free range chickens and he does great. He gets along with adults and kids of all ages. I'm not sure if he is potty trained because he uses a doggy door so would ere on the side of no. He has not been around cats, but I would think he would be ok as he is good with my Chihuahua.
The perfect home for him would be someone that is active but home a lot as he loves hanging out with his family and snuggling on their lap. He also loves playing with dogs and finds comfort being with another dog so another dog is important.
If you think you’d be a good fit he won’t disappoint. Please fill out an application
All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative. Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $150 for cats and $200 for dogs.
To meet this pet, please fill out a dog application or cat application.
