Guppy's Story

How this pet arrived: Guppy was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on March 2, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Guppy! This sweet, wiggly girl may take a moment to get her bearings in new situations, but she warms up with a little patience and understanding. Once she feels comfortable, Guppy's affectionate personality shines - she enjoys gentle petting, tasty treats (especially cheese!), and being near her favorite people. Guppy would thrive in a calm, understanding home that gives her a little time to settle in and feel safe. She may not be a dog who feels confident enough to go everywhere with you, but she's more than happy to stay at home and hang out! If there are children in the home, they should be 8 years or older and come in for a meet-and-greet to ensure a great match. If you're looking for a fun little pup who will stick by your side, Guppy might just be the perfect catch! Come in and ask about adopting today! At SDHS:Guppy has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home! Shy/Fearful Dog: Guppy requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Cream Weight: 28lbs Age: 4yrs 1mths 1wks Animal has been Spayed
