Guppy's Story

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on March 2, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Guppy! Don't let the name fool you-this sweet girl may be a little fishy about new situations at first! Guppy is a shy pup who just needs a patient family willing to let her swim along at her own pace. With a little time, kindness, and gentle encouragement, she's sure to come out of her shell and show what a fin-tastic companion she can be. Guppy would do best with a calm, understanding home that will let her take things slow while she learns to feel safe. If there are children in the home, they must be 8 years or older and should be present for the interaction with Guppy to make sure everyone is a good catch. Give this shy little Guppy the chance to find her school-she might just hook your heart! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. This pet is now ready for her new home!

Shy/Fearful Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.
