If you’re looking for a best friend, loyal companion and shadow-dog, meet Gunther. Our sweetest orange boy is gentle and just wants to be adored. He likely has never known much love or stability before coming to BDRP - he seems affection deprived for certain. Gunther is an easy-going pup who would thrive in a home on the quieter side, with a person, or people, who like to chill out with their best dog buddy, take him along for quiet strolls and fun outings. He’s friendly with other dogs but as of yet, hasn’t shown a big interest in playing - he seems a bit perplexed by the idea of a rowdy romp. He’s more interested in being near his person and relishing in some pets. <br/><br/>Gunther is about 1 year old and he’s some sort of houndy mix. He came to rescue weighing about 55 lbs., when a healthy weight will be about 70 lbs. He’s enjoying his meals, gaining weight slowly and filling out each day.
