Gunner's Story
Gunner is a senior German Shepherd we rescued with 2 Dobermans. All of the dogs had experienced extreme neglect. Gunner was thin, covered with fleas, had a rip-roaring ear infection and a horrible coat. Today he is a different dog, healthy with a thick beautiful coat as you can see. Apart from some arthritis in his hind quarters Gunner is doing very well and he gets around just fine. We cannot know what this boy has suffered in his life, but we do know that he deserves a loving and comfortable retirement home. We are hoping a retiree in the community might be in need of a companion because Gunner would love to have his own person. Gunner is crate-trained, obedient, and a decent watch dog. He was probably born in 2016 and he weighs about 85 pounds.
