Meet Gunner! <br/><br/>Sometimes there just aren’t words to describe a beautiful soul who’s so loving and gentle after surviving endless hardships. Lucky for us a simple name embodies it…. Gunner. Gunner is a loving and kind 2 yr old pit mix weighing 60lbs. We understand at first glance he’s a bit different, but after you hear his tail of survival, you too will see him as nothing but beautiful. <br/><br/>Gunners home caught fire and when his hoomans fled, so did he. After endlessly looking for him, he was found caught in a snare trap around his neck. So imbedded it cut through his neck securing itself deep in his flesh. Homeless and without a family with resources to advocate for his care an amazing rescue answered his rescue call. Through the next year and multiple vet visits and rigorous testing Gunner was Diagnosed with an auto immune disease. Finally a name for his discomfort. Amazingly through diet and an affordable daily meds not to mention a monthly bath soak he is healed and happy. <br/><br/>He has shown he is a sweet loving, easy going guy with crate, house and leash manners. He loves to ride quietly in the car looking out the window. He is a great snuggle buddy to his 8 foster fur siblings. Loves his foster mom’s 4 yr old grandbabys soft pets and sweet words. Genuinely he just happy to coexist in safety. Now it’s time to help Gunner find his furever family.
