Gunner (courtesy post)'s Story
This is a courtesy post and not with Almost Home-inquiries should be sent directly to Lacy at lacyblake0626@yahoo.com

Gunner is a one year old German Shepherd (mix or purebred, not sure). As is common with the breed, he is very active, very smart and by nature a protective breed. Has been living for the last 4 months with Lacy, her 9 yr old son, multiple dogs (including small breeds), cats and doing well with all. Previously was not really worked with or socialized with his first owners who took this healthy sweet dog to be euthanized when they didn't want him anymore at only 8 months old. That would be been awful so Lacy, a vet tech, took him home with her to find him a forever home. There was so much he wasn't exposed to, took a few weeks to learn about his new foster home, learn how to play with other animals, even learn what a couch was about. He has made great progress. Housebroken, needs leashwork, just basic training and attention.

He is vaccinated and neutered. Please can you help save Gunner and get an amazing companion.?
