Gunnar's Story

Gunner is an 8-year-old, 32-pound neutered male Chihuahua who came to us with his two siblings, Hang Around and Prospect, after their beloved owner passed away. When Gunner first arrived, he was significantly overweight — but thanks to a healthy diet and good care, he’s made wonderful progress and finally has a waist! Gunner is a friendly, easygoing boy who gets along great with other dogs. He has a calm, quiet nature and would do well in a condo or apartment setting. He’s the kind of companion who is happy to simply be near his people, enjoying a peaceful home and steady routine. After losing his home once, Gunner is ready for a fresh start with a family who will continue helping him stay healthy and shower him with love.
